Thought this was a pretty strong series. Often compared to Mad Men, Euphoria, Succession and other series that I haven't seen myself like Billions and Skins. I can see the similarities with the former names, but Industry still has enough of its own face. The London finance world is an interesting setting, the hedonistic millennial vibe is spot on and the charismatic (largely unknown to me) cast does a great job.

Just like in Succession and Euphoria, the tone can change quite drastically from cynical to dramatic and there is sometimes an awkward atmosphere in certain scenes. In Succession in particular, it took me a while to get immersed in the series, but here I managed it quite quickly. Still, I think some will be turned off by this.

So I could taste it myself and I rushed through the 8 episodes at a fast pace. I wouldn't call it brilliant yet (despite the many 5* reviews in the media), I sometimes think it's a bit too soapy. I'm already looking forward to the 2nd season.

Strong British series about a London investment bank, where a group of intern can start a possible career. Although the young dogs don't seem to be working much (they are very busy with each other and their bosses), this is a spicy & juicy version of the German Bad Banks. With a pinch of The Split, Suits and Billions. But with significantly more sex, more drugs and more rock & roll. And more intimidation. Although almost no character is really likeable, the series looks nice. Who said boring office garden here? Not me. We like to take a little incredibility here and there for granted. The acting is good, something is constantly happening and the screenplay has few breakdowns. Top notch drama.
