Architect Alexandra faces her worst nightmare when she receives a call from local agent Conrado. She is asked to identify her husband Oscar's body, which was found on a pier in the beautiful Albufera countryside outside Valencia. Suicide? How could they have made plans for their future just hours ago? But it only gets worse: Oscar was living a double life with another woman, Veronica. Who is this woman? Een meeslepende serie waarbij ik het eerste seizoen iets beter vond dan het tweede omdat het geheel richting het einde steeds vermoeiender werd. Qua plot niet echt "uit het leven gegrepen" maar door de sfeer en setting verdwijnt dat gelukkig een beetje naar de achtergrond. Als romantisch en relationeel drama best goed, als thriller matig. Het Spaans stoorde me totaal niet. Wat wel af en toe stoorde was het opgefokte en gefrustreerde bij de karakters, want het aantal woorden per minuut versloeg volgens mij af en toe zo'n beetje alle records. De scene waarin Oscar niet meer wist wat hij moest was compleet over-the-top.

An engaging series where I liked the first season a bit better than the second because it became more and more tiring towards the end. In terms of plot not really "taken from life" but fortunately that fades a bit into the background because of the atmosphere and setting. As a romantic and relational drama quite good, as a thriller mediocre. The Spanish didn't bother me at all. What did bother me every now and then was the agitated and frustrated nature of the characters, because the number of words per minute sometimes broke almost all records in my opinion. The scene in which Oscar didn't know what to do was completely over-the-top.
