El Embarcadero plot
Architect Alexandra faces her worst nightmare when she receives a call from local agent Conrado. She is asked to identify her husband Oscar's body, which was found on a pier in the beautiful Albufera countryside outside Valencia. Suicide? How could they have made plans for their future just hours ago? But it only gets worse: Oscar was living a double life with another woman, Veronica. Who is this woman? Who was the man she loved for 15 years? And what happened that fatal night on the pier?

An engaging series where I liked the first season a bit better than the second because it became more and more tiring towards the end. In terms of plot not really "taken from life" but fortunately that fades a bit into the background because of the atmosphere and setting. As a romantic and relational drama quite good, as a thriller mediocre. The Spanish didn't bother me at all. What did bother me every now and then was the agitated and frustrated nature of the characters, because the number of words per minute sometimes broke almost all records in my opinion. The scene in which Oscar didn't know what to do was completely over-the-top.
