Moore starred in a record seven Bond movies - Live and Let Die, The Man With the Golden Guy, The Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker, For Your Eyes Only, Octopussy and A View to a Kill.

Sean Connery, of course, played Bond in the first movie, Dr. No, and Moore explained what makes his version of the character different to his pal's.

“Sean’s Bond was a tough character who could fight his way out of a corner; my Bond would charm his way out of a corner," he said in 2008.

"Sean was the first Bond. He created and defined the part. He was distinctive in that there was no one else to compare him with.”

According to our community, the best Bond movie featuring Moore is 1977's The Spy Who Loved Me, which features one of the most iconic title tracks in the history of the franchise by Carly Simon.

The second is For Your Eyes Only in which "Bond attempts to locate a missile command system while becoming tangled in a web of deception spun by rival Greek businessmen."

In third is The Man With the Golden Gun. The man, in question, is Francisco Scaramanga, played by the legendary Christopher Lee.

Our community believes Moonraker is Moore's worst Bond.

A Boeing 747 carrying a space shuttle crashes into the Atlantic Ocean. The British discover that the space shuttle has disappeared and must apologize to the US. However, they do not leave it at that and James Bond is put on the case. He begins his research at Drax Industries who designs the Moonraker. It soon becomes apparent that he is not welcome and Bond must discover at all costs what Hugo Drax has to do with an unknown space project and a highly poisonous extinct orchid.
