In a frontier town, singer Eddie Dean and his faithful friend Soapy Jones attend a party at Don Lopez's house. Lopez habitually shows a valuable diamond necklace to his guests and has one of them, Maria, wear it. Jim Barrett, another guest, offers Lopez to buy the necklace, but he declines. Barrett then plans to join his henchmen Bill Avery and Corey to steal the necklace and the rest of Lopez's diamonds.
