The Singing Hill plot
Foreman Gene Autry tries to stop the owner of the Circle R. Ranch from selling her land to John Ramsey. The vast farmlands are also used by the small ranchers to graze their livestock. Ramsey plans to ban the ranchers from using this land. Gene asks the landlady to reconsider her selling plans, but she has already used up a deposit on the ranch to pay off her debts. Gene has no choice but to try to raise money to pay Ramsey back.
