The Parson and the Outlaw plot
"The untold story of Billy the Kid...THE ONLY MAN WHO COULD OUTDRAW JESSE JAMES!"
It is believed that outlaw William H. Bonney, aka 'Billy the Kid', was killed by US Marshal Pat Garrett. But Garrett has helped Billy pretend he was killed by him. In return, Billy had to promise Garrett that he would stay on the right path from now on. One day Billy runs into the gunslinger Jack Slade, who is furious because he determines that Billy the Kid is still alive. Slade, who prides himself on identifying and killing all wanted outlaws, teams up with authoritarian Colonel Jefferson Morgan. Morgan rules his territory with a heavy hand. When Billy gets into trouble by Slade and Morgan, he hopes he can count on the priest Jericho Jones, who knows about his appointment with Garrett.
