Smoky Trails plot
Bob Archer's father is shot and Bob gives chase to the perpetrator. Bob helps a man who is involved in a firefight, but is knocked down by the man as thanks and put in jail by the sheriff. He discovers that the man he wanted to help is his father's murderer and convinces the deputy to release him. Bob pretends to be a bandit and discovers that the man has joined a gang and is hiding in their hideout.
