Rough-Riding Romance plot
When oil is discovered on his small ranch, Phineas Dobbs is suddenly a rich man. While Dobbs announces to the residents of Cow Valley that he is now fortunate, a train stops in Cow Valley, drawing him into royal intrigue. A princess from the Balkans is one of the passengers. This princess is closely guarded by two bad guys. Dobbs travels with this train to San Francisco, where he wants to visit his friend Curly with his horse Tony. Dobbs and Curly suspect a conspiracy is brewing against the princess. The heroic Dobbs rescues the princess and her father and travels alone again to Cow Valley. The loneliness doesn't seem to last long for Dobbs: one night the princess stands in the door of his ranch.
