When Texas Ranger Tim Raymond is killed in a stagecoach robbery, Wells Fargo's Whip Wilson is tasked with uncovering the killer's identity. Whip goes incognito as a marshal and can now go after outlaw gang leader Jarvis and his suspected client Cliff Devin. But Whip doesn't know that John Mason is behind the murder. When Tim Raymond's sister Janet arrives in town and Whip's true identity is revealed, Mason plans to have him arrested for Tim Raymond's murder.
