Jageun Yeonmot plot
The Korean War is not going very well for the United States at the beginning. They are strongly pushed back by the North Koreans and have to withdraw. In Jugok, a village in the middle of the Korean peninsula, Chang-yee and his friends only care about the amateur singing competition and have no idea what is going on around them. The American troops order the villagers to withdraw south. The people of Jugok leave as if it were a picnic and are fully confident that the Americans will protect them. However, the Americans do not trust the villagers.
