Tod auf Amrum plot

The Hamburg Police Commissioner Rolf Spiekermann is passionate about his profession and has already managed to put several notorious criminals behind bars. As a result, however, he has several enemies in the local underworld. Now, however, he decides to take his vacation days, and together with his wife and two children he leaves for the northern German island of Amrum. Even before they have reached their holiday home, however, they are ambushed by two masked motorcyclists. However, just in time, the hitchhiker Olaf arrives, and the motorcyclists quickly flee. The family is very grateful to Olaf and offers him accommodation in their holiday home. Father Rolf, meanwhile, suspects that the robbery attempt was actually an attack by the recently released criminal Pjontek, and is full of worries about a possible next attack.
