Excellent British thriller with a story that we have seen before, but that does not detract from this excellent film. At times quite hard scenes and a lot of dark tension.

I've been bad at choosing movies lately, I keep giving low marks to movies that seemed so interesting to me. While watching I also had the feeling that I've seen it all a dozen times before, little new, more of the same. Acting was below par and I was not once shocked or surprised. It all felt very dated to me, as if the film had been covered in dust for 20 years. The atmosphere did not appeal to me and the film follows a lot of well-trodden paths, which makes it absolutely not a 'must see' for fans of this genre. As for the 'hard scenes', I thought it was not too bad, especially the way it was portrayed was a downer.
It got a little better towards the end, but I was left with a major anticlimax.

this is certainly a good film if you don't start with the wrong expectations.it is a bit like straw dogs, but then again a different approach.for those who hesitate to watch the film halfway through the film***there will be a unexpectedly beautiful plot that brings the film to a full ending.2 star certainly worthy.
