It's kind of a special movie. Jan Decleir plays a strange figure and does this very convincingly. Add Jeroen Krabbé to that and you have a top cast. There is also a role for Astrid Joosten (that lady from the TV game "Twee voor twelve" on NL).

You might want to add that the story is based on true facts.

Mainly a paranoia film with some humor now and then.

"You are a killer"

I thought this was a very captivating film and very well acted by Jan Decleir. His facial expressions when he sees Jeroen Krabbë below do his word are phenomenal. And I also think he acts better than Krabbé anyway, in this film anyway.

I didn't know Liesbeth List's song, but I think it's quite nice to have a nice text.

Furthermore, the 'Father Jacob' plays a prominent role.

Filming of just about the most bizarre hostage-taking action in the Netherlands.

Amsterdam bus driver takes the Rembrandttoren hostage assuming that Philips has his office there....nope, they had just moved to another office a week before.

The reason....widescreen TV!!!! Including alleged secret messages.

It is almost impossible to miss out on a good film here, but then we have not taken the Dutch film industry into account!!!

Jan Decleir does his best, but an Amsterdam bus driver with a Flemish accent?

Jeroen Krabbé thinks he plays in a James Bond, but the man only has one acting position.

We don't use decent dialogue writers in the Netherlands.

Liesbeth List warns something about the beginning energetically as if she is applying for the Eurovision Song Contest.

In terms of celebrity and to suggest some quality, we use as an acting cannon: 2 for 12 presenter Astrid Joosten.....as well as 2 for 12 presenter Astrid Joosten.

And for this whole event, including a complete Rembrandt Tower, we can get by with a total number of 10 actors and actresses.

All not so bad if we only got a little more clarity in the how and why of this action (We Mislead!!!) luckily we can connect some dots with some imagination, but to what extent it is all based on true facts or research ???

Just not enough because 70% of the Dutch film production is even worse and the gdzdnk is not about WW2 again.
