Stefano (Thomas Milian) needs to get his wife back under control before she throws his future plans into disarray. A chance encounter with the wealthy Count Matteo leads to a plan in which the two help each other remove their loved ones. The problem is that Stefano sees this as a joke, unlike the Count. It becomes a race against time for Stefano to undo this plan.
