La Main Blanche plot
A human hand is found in an old salt mine. When Commissioner Franck Mercoeur (Bruno Madinier) and forensic anthropologist Marion Ravel (Ingrid Chauvin) investigate the case, it turns out that the hand belongs to a woman who suddenly disappeared from the face of the earth 90 years ago. DNA tests indicate that it is the great-grandmother of a woman in the neighborhood who disappeared herself after a car accident some time ago. When a second hand is found and another woman disappears, a terrible pattern becomes apparent. The inspectors discover that in 1918, ninety years ago, five women were murdered. Now their descendants are also in danger. But could a murderer from 1918 just resurface?
