Doodslag plot

Max (Theo Maassen) has been an ambulance brother for twenty years. He has no wife, no children, but does have a neighbor as a friend with whom he regularly flirts. At a certain moment he gets a new colleague, a Moroccan girl with whom he gets along well. One day they have to take an ambulance to an emergency birth, but a group of young people blocks the way. Max, partly instigated by a TV appearance by a famous comedian (Gijs Scholten van Aschat), turns away at that moment, so that the misery begins.

The social theme of this film is of course very interesting. Ambulance brother Max has to go to an emergency birth, but is prevented from doing his job on the way because he is unable to assist an injured young man because emergency delivery assistance has priority. Consequence; Max loses his composure and against the orders of the police station, Max does not stay in his car and gives one of the advanced youngsters a death blow. Which weighs more; the orders Max gets from the hospital or the orders Max gets from the police station. An enormous dilemma, therefore sufficient food for thought and enough to make an interesting film of the social theme "Aggression against aid workers". That this doesn't happen despite the pretty good first two parts is because the film ends up stranded in enormous exaggeration and unbelievability. It's a shame because the acting in this movie was generally pretty good.

Started well, promising. But as he weakened. Such a shame, could have been such a good story. It's also a shame that everyone talks about playing their own judge and is even compared above with the jewelry store, but that's a completely different scenario. They did it in self-defense. This paramedic just wanted to hit him so he could get through. He had no intention of killing him so don't think that title manslaughter is about anything. Apart from that, I thought it was funny that he took his work from the comedian in a nasty way. But of course it wasn't his fault, comedians shout, you are the one who ultimately acts. The ending also made no sense: he cares about Amira, thinks she's a top woman, but is still going to ruin her most beautiful day? haha how then? Well, weird movie.
