The film is based on some stories by Jules Verne and tells of a genius, but somewhat naive scientist who invents a very potent explosive. A madman sees an opportunity to take over world domination and steals the invention. The scientist and his sidekick must do everything they can to prevent the device from falling into the wrong hands.
