Le Garde du Corps plot
Paul registers in his mother's marriage bureau and meets Barbara, an English journalist. He falls madly in love with her, but just before he wants to ask for her hand, she says she will marry Julien Duchemin, the owner of an animal sanctuary. However, Paul learns that this man has already been widowed twice and that he has inherited a fortune from his deceased wives, who were very rich.
