Kite Festival of Love plot
Gavin McQueen has recently been widowed and is moving back to his hometown with his nine-year-old daughter Parker. There he discovers a passion for kite flying. There's a lot of chemistry between Gavin and reigning aviator champion Hannah, but an old bond with childhood friend Katie threatens to stand in the way of their budding love. Meanwhile, Parker tries to find her own place in the community.
