"THE SCREEN'S NEW SINGING COWBOY STAR!"
The battle erupts when the interests of oil companies and the ranchers turn out to be contradictory. Gene sided with the ranchers because he believes the oil wells will contaminate the ground. When Gene learns that the possibility of oil in the ground will also allow the arrival of the train, his opinion changes. He also discovers that the Superintendent has falsely reported that the oil well is dry in order to take advantage of the oil well himself.
