Gabriela, Cravo e Canela plot

1925. Gabriela is hired as a cook and housekeeper by Nacib, a bar owner in a town run by the local colonels. They get married soon after. When Nacib finds Gabriela in bed with his best friend, the marriage ends, but when the town modernizes over time, they draw back to each other.
