Flying Home plot
Colin is a young, successful American corporate raider. In an effort to close an important deal with a very wealthy sheik, Colin is forced to bring a strange plan to a successful conclusion. The sheik turns out to be an avid pigeon fancier and he has wanted to buy a specific champion pigeon from Flanders for some time. But the owner, Jos Pauwels, stubbornly refuses any amount offered. Colin promises the sheik that he will change the mind of the Flemish pigeon fancier. He poses as a New York teacher looking for his great-grandfather's war grave and sets out for the Westhoek of Flanders, fully convinced that his assignment will be 'a piece of cake'....
