Chéri plot
Léa de Lonval (Michelle Pfeiffer) is beautiful, in her fifties and a courtesan with no money problems. Realizing that the fervor of her young lover Chéri (Rupert Friend) is waning, she records one last time with cool amazement and bitter acumen all the small and great joys of a passion that will be her last. Chéri only realizes what Léa has meant to him when he is married to the young, inexperienced Edmée.
