The Wonders plot
Anything can happen in Jerusalem. This is what Ariel Navon, a bartender, has dropped out of art school early on. He is a compulsive cartoonist whose pleasant worldly existence is turned upside down late at night after he sees a strange flash of blue light coming from an apparently empty building. His investigation leads to an encounter with a dazed man who looks like Rasputin, but he turns out to be the famous modern-day prophet Rabbi Knafo. Is Knafo being held against his will? And who would do such a thing?
