Good-Bye plot

The film opens with a young man's repeated trip to a local diner who is clearly having trouble speaking. He always has to go home to learn a new word to answer the bartender while his hunger grows. Along the way, he keeps meeting a woman who eventually takes him on a mysterious journey to Korea where he goes in search of his father and his roots.
