Black Hollow Cage plot
Alice, 13, lives with her father Adam in a large house in the woods after she lost her mother and part of her right arm in a car accident. Alice has withdrawn into herself and does not get along with her father whom she considers responsible for the accident. Reluctantly, she wears a new electronic arm that she can barely handle. She has a close relationship with Beatrice, a wolfhound who can talk through an electronic translation device and whom Alice calls "mother." One day, the duo find a mysterious cubic artifact near the house.
