"Get set for a Racy Romp up and down the Big Street!"
Nancy Peterson (Janet Leigh) is a country girl who comes to the big city with the hopes of starring in a successful show. She finds shelter in a lodging house where more boys and girls live, all hoping for a breakthrough in showbiz. To gain fame, Nancy would like to appear on Bob Crosby's television show and her agent Lew Conway (Eddie Bracken) will arrange that for her.
