"It's the Talk of the Town!"
In search of a story, reporter Miss Lee approaches George White as he finishes his latest revue. It turns out she has a lot of backstage gossip to choose from: White's latest discovery, Mona Vale, makes her Broadway debut and is instantly in love with the star, Jimmy Martin. But Jimmy only has eyes for Barbara Lorraine, a cocky fellow player. Comedian Donnelly also has warm feelings, but for Mona and for a young dancer, Patsy Day.
