Millionaire Michael Oliver Pritchard III meets beautiful singer Kitty O'Kelly at a party and falls in love with her instantly. Meanwhile, poor Brooke Carter meets wealthy gambler Johnny Spanish and they too seem born for each other. The two happy couples meet and befriend, but their friendship is tested when Brook falls in love with Michael's handsome butler Rodney James.
