Whistle and I'll Come to You plot
After taking his ailing wife Alice to a care home, old academic James Parkin stays at the hotel they used to frequent together. Walking on the deserted beach, he finds a ring with a Latin inscription that translates as: 'Who is this who is to come'. He takes the ring back to his hotel but is awakened at night by a loud banging on his door, even though he is the only guest and sees a white-robed apparition. Apparently, he's the victim of a ghost's revenge. But who is the avenger?
