This one was all right with me! Nicely done. Nice cast, dialogues were good, especially the parts with the children themselves. Visually also fine. I had expected a huge B movie in the beginning, but after half an hour I was done. Even though the description sounds quite cliché, fortunately it is not as cliché as most films with this subject.

New Plaza.

Always nice to sit in front of, although Plaza will probably always remain Balaguero's little brother. The two are inextricably linked, but Plaza's spit brother often seems to walk with more attention.

Doesn't matter much, a horror fan will pull it off. Plaza comes here with a fairly typical-sounding movie that he still manages to give his own twist. Exorcism and Ouija films enough, what Plaza literally shows here is also not very original, but the atmosphere manages to give the film something of its own.

And I don't mean the 90s thing. Fortunately, Plaza isn't big on it either, it's more because the story on which all this happened took place at that time. Well, valid excuse then. Apart from a stray headset or an outdated wall telephone, it does not bother you much.

The structure of the film is tight, although Plaza does take the time in the beginning to put everything neatly down. Horror elements are effective but not really very original, he often remains in familiar territory but everything is taken care of down to the last detail. Couple of exciting scenes, especially very atmospheric. Visually it is also more than adequate and the soundtrack also contributes its part. If the child actors are also on a level then I just don't have much to complain about.

Perhaps the film just doesn't stand out enough. It is certainly very fine filler, but I could not recognize something of a masterpiece in it. Doesn't matter too much, there is also a shortage of these kinds of horror films, only Plaza may want to increase his work pace a bit. You can produce these kinds of films a little faster, it does not have to take 5 years.

3.5*

Yes, I liked him too. Especially now that it has been able to go down for a while. I found it interesting from the start and was drawn into the story. It's a shame that all of Facebook was full of quotes like 'The scariest movie ever!' because then you tend to go into it with wrong expectations. It's not terribly scary, but it is entertaining and it certainly has atmospheric and creepy moments. After the second séance I was on the edge of my seat for a while and a feeling of tightness came over me. I also liked the acting and I really empathized with the kids. For me, this was finally a successful horror film.
