Quite funny.

Definitely not a top film in the genre, I agree. But I didn't think it was that bad in the end. It's a more unusual film than most horror films, because this film is about hating everyone instead of feeling sorry that they're being killed.

The story is stale, but the kills are okay. Sometimes quite brutal, although there are also a few that are portrayed very softly. I didn't think it was really a comedy anywhere, but the British way of filmmaking is sometimes recognizable.

Not really a high flyer, but I had a great time with this film.

Tried this one and it wasn't bad. I expected the film to be a bit bloodier, it takes quite a while before people die. Not that this was a negative point, but it was just noticeable.

The cast did not do bad. Furthermore, they build up the story nicely.

It was more supernatural than expected, but otherwise it was worth seeing.

An entertaining slasher from British soil. The film offers horror and coming of age and brings that in the typical British ironic tone. I like that. The content of the film is not sensational. A familiar story that takes place in a secondary school. Of course, issues such as group formation and bullying pass by and the negative influences of social media pass by. The film does not offer any surprising eye-openers.

The revenge motive of the killer is also thick, but is not approached sentimentally and therefore not emotionally exploited. I liked that businesslike British approach. The killer is fat and asthmatic and not very scary. Still, he is good for enjoyable and creative murder. And that is what a slasher is mainly about. The characters are annoying or not very interesting and with these characteristics they are perfect material to serve as slaughter cattle. In that sense, the characters function perfectly.

The film is not an exceptional film but has a pleasant mix of drama, horror and comedy that pleases. The pace is good. The kills are worth watching. And the ironic humor that makes the stereotypical characters even more stereotypical, if possible, is fun. Tormented simply does what you expect of it and that resulted in a satisfying viewing session.
