The Portal plot

"Dare to face your inner child..."

April Meddows is a medical detective with the US Communicable Disease Unit CDC. Her current research encompasses the mystery behind the outbreak of a mysterious virus. This virus, first thought of as E-bola, infects the infected with an extraordinary rage and eventually a repulsive urge for mutilations and murderousness. However, the mystery behind the origin of this disease becomes even greater when no trace of contamination is found in the bodies of the infected persons. The only clue leads to an ancient painting, which seems to contain the gateway to another world...
