Cass plot
The true story of the Jamaican orphan Cass, adopted and raised in the East End of London. After many years of discrimination, Cass lapses into more and more violence. This gives him respect, something he has never had before. After a failed assassination attempt on Cass, he begins to have doubts, continue fighting as the street has taught him, or revisit his violent past.

This film that revolves around the character of Cass Pennant a hooligan and 80's icon for hooliganism in an era of racism and violence should be a strong backdrop for this bio-pic. Yet the director is unable to get this interesting story off the ground. Everything relies too much on clichés and lacks any of the tension that should be inherent to this lifestyle. Nonso Anozie is a reasonable actor in itself, but more suited to the role of a big teddy bear and not at all as an ICF leader.
