The Deliverance plot
"Every family has its demons."
Ebony Jackson is a single mother battling her personal demons. She moves her family to a new house for a fresh start. That Glenn Close wants to play in this horrible piece of work. Supposedly true again this nonsense. Yet another very weak film with exorcism. Come up with something new please. This is absolutely avoidable.....

This urban version of The Exorcist is not so bad at first, at least, as long as the focus is on the well-being of the Jackson family. Unfortunately, as soon as the horror elements are dragged in by the hair, things quickly go downhill. The viewer is then spared no cliché. Glenn Close steals the show as the crazy extrovert mother of leading actress Andra Day.

Firewood, so don't watch. Films about the occult can certainly count on my special attention. Exorcist, The Omen all parts, Deliver us from evil. But this is firewood, scenes stolen from The Exorcist. Glenn Close in this film is just like a polar bear in the Kalversraat. This is something for SBS so many, although I don't even know where that pulp crap hangs out. By the way, I also count the press officer of John de Mol and his lackeys among them. Never watch it. But anyway, a film like this belongs on a camping channel. The only nice thing about this film I found were the credits. What a relief. Brrrr...
