I Frati Rossi plot
The young wife of a wealthy owner of a medieval Italian castle resembles the portrait of a woman who lived there centuries ago. She also finds it very suspicious that her husband regularly descends into the cellars of the building and decides to investigate the matter. She discovers that an ancient cult of demon worshipers has been at work in the past. Masked monks in red robes used to perform diabolical rituals in the dark catacombs of the castle, using the blood of young virgins to perform their sacrifices.
