Frayed plot

"Evil burns within the mind of madness"

Pat Baker is the local sheriff in a small town. His son Kurt is a disturbed young man with a dark secret. Sheriff Baker's worst nightmare comes to life when Kurt escapes from the psychiatric clinic, where he was imprisoned for the brutal murder of his mother thirteen years earlier. Gary, a hospital guard, is sent to stop him, but he is soon hunted by the deranged psychopath, who wants to kill anyone who crosses his path. Shariff Baker launches an immense search for his son, only to discover that his daughter Sara and her friends are camping in the same area that Kurt roams.
