Eli plot
The boy Eli has an autoimmune disease. The doctor promises to get better through a series of experimental treatments. So it came to pass, were it not for Eli to be subsequently ravaged by horrifying events. He soon finds out that the house he lives in is unsafe.

Dear Foy.
Great horror film from Foy. Although he was busy with his debut on a low budget as a young dog, it is always a matter of waiting to see if he can really do something with it. With Sinister 2 he already made a solid sequel, but here it seems that his real talent is becoming more apparent. He picks up the pace pretty fast. Bubble Boy is going to be healed in a separate clinic. Soon you'll be faced with the usual ghosts that warn him about something, and a strange girl standing by his window. It's not immediately uplifting but Foy doesn't make the boy retarded and the ghost scenes are very skillfully portrayed. Couple of really nice finds. That he gets pulled by his shirt, that he wipes condensation away and ghost is gone too. It's all a bit more fun than average.
The ending is nice too. This movie actually does right what Brightburn does wrong. There you quickly know that we are dealing with an evil superman. But here the reveal is done much smarter and more fun. I think Foy can do even more, maybe put in a little more of that Irish grittiness.
Great Netflix movie! I see an upward trend.

Not that it was all so great, but it rarely happens that we speculate with each other for an entire horror film about what the story will be and/or are positively surprised by the explanation of how it all turns out. For that reason alone, it is well worth picking up as a horror fan. Thick enough. Fortunately, it also doesn't take too long to lose your attention during the slightly less captivating - but still not very bad - intro, which takes up 90% of the film's duration.
ps I'm glad I didn't read any reviews beforehand, because if as a result you expect a compelling and somewhat surprising plot to be the best aspect of the film, then the value of that decreases spontaneously while watching the film already finished.
