Second part of the Blind Dead series. Just like the first part, this one is also fantastic in my opinion. The templar zombies look great again. Bit bloodier than the Hammer movies (make sure you get the uncut version of 91 minutes). Tempo is about at that level, a bit lower than what you are used to from action horror these days. But there is enough atmosphere and then that great mayor, who knows where the priorities lie when the Templars attack his city.

This 2nd part also contains a nice atmosphere and the zombie templars look fantastic. Some more action also this 2nd part. Acting is of course not the best, but there were some nice characters like the mayor and Bruce Dickinson

I love it, that's why 3.5*

This sequel can certainly stand next to Tombs of The Blind Dead. A number of strong elements from the first part are (obviously) repeated: the mighty beautiful sequence of zombies on horseback in slow motion, the lurid Gregorian (?) chants. We also had a survival of the fittest in part 1, but here it is even better developed. The film contains an extra load of psychology thanks to the complex tensions between the survivors. It is fascinating how everyone has their own agenda.

But of course, it's not all about psychology here. There is still quite a bit of gore and occasional nudity to see. It comes down to getting an uncut version. The finale is actually beautiful in all its simplicity. How simple and why not.
