Dead Leaves plot

Joey and Laura are in love, but when Laura breaks her neck trying to retrieve a kitten from the roof of her apartment, something inside Joey snaps. Just as the hearse arrives, he wraps Laura's body in a blanket, grabs a gun and leaves with her in his car. While Laura's body doesn't get any fresher, the same is actually happening with Joey's mental health.
