Average early-70s Hammer horror, but entertaining enough. Tera finally wants to rise from her grave, but all the expedition members have divided the relics needed for that. Luckily, the professor's daughter is her spitting image, so she can help out. We've seen uglier mummies; Valerie Leon is, of course, just plain yummy. And that ending is, of course, brilliant!

The story is very similar to the film The Awakening (1981), which I also happened to see on the horror challenge. While The Awakening triumphs in its locations, this film is more captivating through its atmosphere and especially through the stunningly beautiful Valerie Leon, who has just about everything going for her appearance. Stylish looks, not only thanks to her beautiful curves and sensual presence, but also a mysteriously beautiful face with fantastic eyes. She certainly plays her role well, convincingly transitioning from a sweet young woman named Margaret to the soul of Queen Tera. This is the first film I've seen of hers, aside from a few small roles, such as in The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) and Revenge of the Pink Panther (1978).

Director Seth Holt died during filming, making the film feel a bit chaotic at times due to the time constraints. That doesn't change the fact that the film is sufficiently entertaining, and the atmosphere, the sets, and the beautiful Valerie Leon are its strengths. 6/10
