Pressure plot
During the last three days before D-Day, all preparations were made, but one crucial element remained uncertain: the British weather. Meteorologist James Stagg was tasked with delivering the most important forecast in human history. The wrong weather conditions could ruin the planned seaborne attack, while any delay increased the risk of being exposed by the Germans. The final decision rested with Supreme Allied Commander Dwight D. Eisenhower. With only Kay Summersby as his personal confidante, he had only a few hours to decide the fate and lives of millions of people.
