L'Ombra di Caravaggio plot
Michelangelo Merisi was a great painter in the seventeenth century who went through life as Caravaggio. He is also a man who stirs controversy. He has been sentenced to death after killing a love rival and has filed a petition for a pardon that Pope Paul V will grant or not grant. The Pope orders the Vatican to secretly open an investigation into the artist. This investigation is led by someone known as the 'Shadow'. Caravaggio's life is in his hands.
