The Web plot
Leopold Kroner, who previously worked at Colby Enterprises, is released after five years in prison for embezzlement. Director Andrew Colby feels threatened by this and he hires lawyer Bob Regan as a bodyguard. When Kroner shows up one day, Regan shoots him. Meanwhile, Regan has a romance with Colby's attractive secretary Noel Faraday, but he begins to suspect that he is being used.
