"Some gifts have a price."
Harmony is a 19-year-old homeless woman who can absorb fear from everyone she comes into contact with. It manifests in her as a black liquid, which can be washed away, but if she takes in too much fear, it can kill her. Harmony meets Mason, a socially awkward man who seems to have no fear anymore. Relieved that she doesn't feel any pain with him, she falls in love. However, she soon meets Jimmy, whose presence radiates fear. After a near-death experience, Harmony and Mason must unite to balance the growing negative energy.
