Das Märchen vom Schlaraffenland plot
Paul lives in poverty with his parents and his sister. In the city he tries to earn money to buy medicine for his sick sister. There he meets a couple of artists who travel around the country. They promise him the route to paradise in exchange for money. Because he doesn't have that, he trades his buck Berta for it. On his way to the other country he comes across a dead end and realizes he has been cheated.
