Student Dexter Riley and his friends accidentally discover a formula that gives people super powers. Their school sees their discovery as a way out of financial trouble and makes a deal with a manufacturer. When a competitor finds out, they hire two criminals to stop it.

Even before Kurt Russell played the muscular action heroes in John Carpenter films, he could be found as a hip student in cheesy Disney comedies. Like this Dexter Riley movie in which a chemical ends up in his breakfast cereal and gives him Herculean strength. Corn Flakes propaganda wrapped in a slapstick Disney... drink your flakes with milk every day and you will become as strong as Dexter!
The humor is of the lamest level, even embarrassing; Seeing the old geezers act so childish is almost painful (especially Flynn as Dean Higgins can handle it), and Russell doesn't have the acting level yet to spice up this film.
