The Scout plot

"He was praying for a miracle. What he got was Steve Nebraska."

Al Percolo is a baseball scout. He has been punished and therefore has to go scouting to Mexico. Coincidentally, he comes into contact with Steve Nebraska, a young American and a very talented player. Al offers Steve a contract. Steve accepts and Al goes home happy. But it soon becomes apparent that Steve is immature and unstable. Al enlists the help of psychiatrist Aaron.
