The Railway Children plot
"The Railway, the Children . . . and the wonderful secret they'll share with you !"
One night the father of the three children Roberta, Phyllis and Peter is taken away by some strange men. Shortly afterwards, the children have to move from London to the countryside with their mother. Their new life will revolve around the railroad. One day, Roberta discovers a piece of newspaper along the rails, stating that their father is in prison on charges of high treason. She decides to keep this news to herself.
